Yale Whiffenpoofs in Scarsdale

Join The Yale Whiffenpoofs for Business Manager Josh Bock's hometown concert as they record their live album, with Scarsdale Middle School Vocal Music Club opening!

Since their founding in 1909, the Whiffenpoofs have brought their diverse repertoire of vocal jazz, folk, pop, and Broadway hits to more than two hundred audiences each year across all 6 inhabited continents. In past years, the ‘Whiffs’ have sung for Presidents Obama, Bush (41 and 43), Clinton, and Reagan, and at venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center. They've even been featured on television shows such as “The Sing Off,” “The West Wing,” "Glee," and most recently, "Hell's Kitchen."

Scarsdale Middle School's Vocal Music Ensemble is an extracurricular group made up of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students from all of the different music classes in the building. The club is open to any student in the Middle School who would like to do a little extra singing after school. The club directors are Daniel Boniello and Kaitlin Lazere.
